Chad Haggitt Re-joins Ironmen as General Manager
As we focus on the future, the Ironmen are thrilled to announce a familiar face will be taking over as the new General Manager.
Wingham native Chad Haggitt will be the Active GM as the team transitions into Spring Evaluations. Chad is no stranger to the PJHL, taking over as the head coach for the Walkerton Capitals (then Hawks) two seasons ago, and along with his staff earning “coach of the year” honours this past season with the Capitals. It wasn’t too long ago Chad was coaching the Clinton Radars during their run of Championships Senior division. We are excited to see Chad get to work!
Chad had these comments to share about the new role:
“I am very excited to return home to Wingham, and to the Wingham Ironmen organization, in a new role as General Manager. I am looking forward to learning and gaining experience in this role, as well as working with Dawson and his coaching staff. I am thankful to the Walkerton Capitals organization for the past 2 seasons, where I was able to develop relationships and friendships with players and staff.”
